Music at Zion

Welcome! I am so glad that you have taken the time to stop by and visit the Zion music page. Whether you are actively involved in Music at Zion and you have stopped in to check out the schedule or if you are a first time visitor to the page. . . I am so glad that you have "stopped by". Music at Zion is a very special activity of the Lord's work here at Zion. We exist to further and support the work of the Lord here at Zion, in our community and beyond. You will find that we are diverse in our music making; but our goals are the same.  In our music making we strive to do the following:

  1. PROCLAMATION - Proclaim the GOSPEL in song
  2. ACCLAMATION - Praise God in song
  3. EDIFICATION - Lift us God’s people in song
AN INVITATION – You are invited to look below for more information about Music at Zion.  There are many ways that YOU can become involved in our musical proclamation and I encourage you to prayerfully consider how you will become involved!.  What to  know more?  E-mail, call or stop by, you are always welcome here at Zion! Thank you for visiting the Zion music page.  I hope to see you in worship (or maybe even at a rehearsal) soon.

Rob Meyer, Director of Music

Children's Music

Music at Zion offers many opportunities for people of all ages to participate musically in worship. Our goals for children’s music at Zion are to provide children with musical opportunities that allow them to:

1) sing, ring and play music in worship
2) lead God’s people in worship
3) just plain have fun

The Children are given the opportunity to sing during worship several times throughout the year in a large group (with all of the BibleLand children) and in a smaller group setting (Good Heavens!).  Rehearsals take place during BibleLand and at 10:30-11:00 am on select Sundays for Good Heavens!.

For more information and a schedule of rehearsals and singing dates, contact our Director of Music.

Summer Ring

Zion Summer Ring is an opportunity for ringers at Zion and in the community to come together and ring into the summer months. We ring on Thursday evenings in June and into July for 45 minutes to an hour. Each week, we review, discuss, or learn some basic (sometimes advanced) principle or technique related to ringing. Summer Ring is led by Zion's Director of Music, Rob Meyer and guest directors and ringers are invited to teach as well.
